Visiting tips & what to bring
Only passengers who have passed security can use it; those seeing off or meeting arrivals, or with no flight planned, cannot enter. As hours are linked to the flight operating timetable, it may be closed for early-morning and late-night flights or in non-operating time slots. Being an indoor facility, there is no worry about weather or insects, and it is air-conditioned. Toilets are also provided in the terminal, suited to a final break before boarding. When alcohol is served, use it with time to spare before your boarding time. For families with small children
Being in a post-security indoor lounge with air conditioning and toilets and no weather worry, it is an environment comfortable even for those waiting for a flight with small children. However, it is a bar serving alcohol, and a dedicated kids space or full meal menu is limited. For children, soft drinks other than coffee are available. As it is passengers-only, use is limited to families taking a flight.FAQ
Q.Can anyone enter?
A.No. Being in the passengers-only area after passing security, only those boarding a flight from Shimojishima Airport can use it. Those seeing off or meeting arrivals cannot enter.
Q.Are the hours fixed?
A.Rather than fixed times, it operates to match that day flight schedule. As it is closed in time slots with no flights, early use before boarding is recommended.
Q.What kind of menu is there?
A.Besides Orion beer, craft beer and cocktails using Miyakojima awamori, it serves soft drinks such as coffee. Alcohol is not sold to those under 20.
Q.Is there parking?
A.The airport terminal has about 250 free parking spaces. However, as the shop is post-security, those coming by car should head over after completing check-in and security.
Q.Can you eat a meal?
A.This is a cafe-bar centred on drinks. If you want a proper meal, you can also use coral port LOUNGE the Kitchen in the same post-security lounge building, or coral port Grab and Go in the check-in building.
