This is the passenger terminal of Miyako Shimojishima Airport, opened in the west of Shimojishima in March 2019. Under the concept "The resort begins at the airport", an open, resort-filled space based on white spreads out. Inside are restaurants and cafes making the most of Okinawan ingredients, shops handling souvenirs and limited items unique to Miyakojima, and photogenic photo spots, so even people not using a flight can drop by freely and enjoy it. A cycling map is provided in the area too, and with rental cycles it can be a base for touring Shimojishima's spectacular spots.
