Its appeal is enjoying flavours unique to Miyakojima and Shimojishima right to the end while waiting for a departing flight. In a food-court format, the Kitchen side serves Miyako soba, taco rice, Okinawa-style tantanmen, and plates using prefecture-produced wagyu beef. Popular items are the "10-vegetable and Miyako mango curry" and Miyako soba topped with an aeroplane-shaped kamaboko. At the adjoining Cafe and Bar you can also enjoy Orion beer, awamori and coffee. The hours are variable to match flight operating times, and it may be closed in time slots with few flights. Groups of 10 or more can also arrange bento (sky meals) with advance booking. It is an airport-only eatery where you can savour local gourmet food to round off your trip.

Visiting tips & what to bring

Being post-security (inside the boarding waiting area), only passengers on a departing flight holding a ticket can use it. Those seeing off, arriving passengers, and those only touring the airport cannot enter. As hours depend on flight operating times, it may be closed in time slots with few flights. Being an indoor facility with air conditioning and toilets and good footing, easy-to-walk shoes are not essential. As it is for use in the moment before boarding, drop by with time to spare for security and boarding procedures.

For families with small children

In an indoor food-court format with air conditioning, bench seats and ample space, families with children aged 0 to 6 can dine relatively calmly. There are child-friendly menu items such as Miyako soba and curry. However, note that it is in the post-security area where only passengers can enter, and being a boarding waiting area it is not suited to a long stay. Toilets are nearby and convenient too.
